The iconic marina in Marbella will celebrate its 50th anniversary established as a national and international luxury nautical harbor of reference.
To commemorate such a special occasion, in 2020 Puerto Banús® will develop several actions. From the launch of an international campaign, an ambitious event plan to collaborations with luxury brands, amongst others.
Lady Kitty Spencer, model and luxury icon, will be the lead and global image of the international campaign that will be presented by the end of February in Puerto Banús®.
Spencer has an enviable curriculum: Master in Luxury Brands Management from Regent’s University in London, besides studies in Psychology, English Literature and Art History. Since 2015 she is professionally working in fashion and has been the image of international luxury brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Bulgari, Michael Kors or Tod’s, all of them present in Puerto Banús®, and she also is wellknown for her intense philanthropical activity.
50 years of history of the most exclusive marina in the Mediterranean
In 1970, Puerto Banús’® launch was the final boost to place Marbella as a key international and national jet-set destination. In this 50 years, Puerto Banús® has been the place to be for the most notable Royal Houses members, Hollywood actors, artists, singers, actors, elite sports players or Nobel prizes.
It is considered as the most exclusive marina in Europe in 2019 by Engel & Völkers, since its beginning it has been one of the preferred harbours for the most imponent yachts of the planet.
The luxury shopping has been another of the main attractions of the iconic enclave which has one of the widest concentrations of luxury brands per square meter in Europe with brands such as Dior, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Loro Piana, Versace or Valentino and, in 2020, Fendi or Monclair will open their doors as well.
In its 50 years, Puerto Banús® has also been the center of some of international competitions such as regattas, tennis competitions with famous players and automobile concentrations.
