The Association of Marinas and Tourist Ports 'Marinas de Andalucía' has conducted a courtesy visit to the Port Authority of Málaga, as a follow-up to meetings with key sector institutions that the group is undertaking. The aim of these meetings is to establish ongoing and productive dialogue that enables the development of collaborative projects and actions to further consolidate Andalusia as a destination of quality and sustainability in nautical tourism.
Attending the visit were Manuel Raigón, President of Marinas de Andalucía; Carlos Rubio, President of AP Málaga; Antonio Valbuena, Director of Alcaidesa Marina and a board member of the association; Alejandro Suanes, Operations Director at Cívitas Puerto Banús; Ignacio del Río, Manager of IGY Málaga Marina; and Esther Molina, Manager of Suncruise Andalucía. During the meeting, Manuel Raigón shared the mission and vision of the association, as well as the current projects that the group is working on, focused on positioning Andalusia as a leader in nautical tourism, with a significant emphasis on sustainability.
Representatives from the Port Authority of Málaga outlined the projects and advances in nautical matters they are undertaking, emphasising the port's crucial role as an economic catalyst and its positive impact on promoting Málaga as an international destination.
Commitment to Institutional Collaboration
The meeting with the Port Authority of Málaga is the third, following visits to the Port Authority of Motril and the Bay of Cádiz Port Authority. "This meeting has been an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and strengthen our collaboration with the Port Authority of Málaga," expressed Manuel Raigón. Such partnerships are vital for further driving the nautical sector and positioning Andalusia as a reference in quality and sustainability.
