General information

Marina del Este leisure port is situated in La Herradura (Almuñécar), in a privileged enclave between the sea and the mountain. Its unusual design and construction perfectly and harmoniously combine the docks with the natural rocky outcrops. La Herradura is the last village on the Granada coast before entering Málaga province. It has magnificent beaches and hidden bays in the Maro Cerro Gordo area. The quality of its waters and sea beds is outstanding, and has made this a privileged area for fans of diving and scuba diving, as it falls within in the Natural Marine Reserve of the Maro-Cerro Gordo Cliffs, named as a Protected Marine Area by UNESCO.
